Check the air pressure in each tire before attempting to
make any adjustments.

2. Adjust the neutral closer to forward on the right
wheel.
3. Reduce the air pressure slightly in the left tire.
4. Increase the air pressure slightly in the right tire.

4.10 LEVELING THE MOWER DECK
Promaster 200
The mower deck can be leveled front to rear and from
side to side. These adjustments should be made on a
level surface with the tires inflated to the correct air
pressure.
The mower is leveled from side to side with the slots
where the 4 chains fasten to the mower mounting
brackets. See Figure 8.
1. Level the mower with blocks of equal height such
as pieces of 2 x 4’s.
2. Attempt to raise the mower until the chains on one
side are tight.
3. Loosen the locknuts on the side of the mower deck
where the chains are slack and slide the bolt down
the slot until the chain is tight.
4. Tighten the locknut.
The mower is leveled from front to rear by adjusting the
rod running down each side of the frame.
1. Loosen and screw back the rear hex nut on the
front end of each rod.
2. Turn the front hex nut on each rod until the mower
is leveled. The front of the deck should be slightly
lower (1/8 inch) than the back.
3. Tighten the rear hex nut that was loosened in
step 1.
Promaster 100 and 160
1. Raise the mower by pulling up on handle until two
mower locking pins can be removed.
2. Adjust mower to desired height and reinsert mower
locking pins, being sure to lock them behind the
handle.
3. Now adjust other side to match.
