If the printing is scratchy or uneven, or if you are not satisfied with the printing quality,

use the [Maintenance] tab to perform printer maintenance. In addition, the [Mainte-

nance] tab can be used to check the printer's firmware version.

[Print Head Cleaning] button

Click this button to print a test pattern and perform print head cleaning.

[Print Head Alignment] button

Click this button to print a test pattern and to automatically adjust the

alignment of the print heads.

The printer model and printer version are

displayed here.
