Connect the up - and downhaul with the
carabiners (red line - red stopper knob,
greenline - green stopper knob).
REINfORCING BOW BRACES

Push the struts onto the plastic studs on
the front part of the frame.

Now push the cross braces with the plas-
tic studs onto the other end of the struts.
►
Open the pelican hooks on the tensio-
ning ropes on the cross braces.
►
Feed the shackle from the other end of
the tensioning ropes through the lower,
large ring on the front part of the frame.
►
Connect the shackles and tensioning ro-
pes.
►
Close the pelican hooks.
►
When lifting the blade pull the left hand
line and lock it in place into the black jam
cleat.
►
When lowering the centerboard blade,
pull the right hand line and lock it in place
into the silver colour automatic jam cleat
(same function as the cleat on the rudder
head).
NOTICE: The belt does not have to be
extremely tensioned. It should only hold
both parts until the jib furler is set.
