The version is carried out with 38,400 bauds, 8 bits and even parity until it is ended by 
a keystroke. A reset is triggered after the keystroke and the antenna is again in the nor-
mal mode (not monitor mode) with the stored parameters.

E.g. the CSV version can be stored (also see section 5.1 on page 33) by use of the 
program hyper-terminal ®. Therefore, use the function record text in the menu trans-
mission ... and enter a file name (it should sensibly have the file ending .csv so that the 
spreadsheet analysis recognizes the file by itself later) use. After the file has been re-
corded and closed under HyperTerminal®, it can be integrated into a spreadsheet cal-
cuation (e.g. Microsoft ® Excel ®, Sun ® StarCalc ®, ...) .

When opening the file, the spreadsheet analysis questions on some options. When 
asked, answer that the values are separated by comma. The data can be processed 
then into diagrammatic form or saved as a native spreadsheet analysis file for the 
passing on.

5.2.2.10 (P)assword

Under password, the already known combination

 can be used for saving the user 

parameters or for the software update. Furthermore a new service password for device 
specfific changes can be created.

5.2.2.11 Se(t)up Ref.transponder Values

Since the antennas aren't bound to one of certain end worth ones, this menu item was 
introduced. The setup of the reference transponder should be executed one time at 
the putting into operation and at a change of the interpreter.

NOTE!

This command should be only executed once during the putting 
into operation since otherwise changes in the antenna precision 
cannot be noticed since they are included in the reference val-
ues at every setup of the reference transponder!

The reference transponder is switched after starting of the reference transponder set-
up and the sum- and differential voltages are stored temporarily and shown on the 
monitor program. To integrate those values, you must save them .

5.2.2.12 (U)pdate Firmware

The update sets the processor of the interpreter to the boot load mode. This boot load 
offers the possibility the proceed a software update without disconnecting and then 
connecting the device to the power supply. Therefore, the update program has to be 
installed like described in chapter 5.3 on page 47.

Push 

 in the main menu. Then proceed the following steps:

Open the flash program.

2.

Choose the COM port to which the antenna is connected.

3.

Choose the HEX file, which you want to program.

4.

Go back to Hyperterm und press any key.
