5.2.11. Update

WARNING: After a firmware update, the product may revert back to factory
settings depending on the update. Its IP configuration will therefore revert to DHCP
For each network port on the server, follow the NETWORK MODULE UPDATE PROCEDURE
below.
Note: To speed the process up, it is possible to launch the module update at the same time
(automatically or by making use of waiting times).
Please read the “WARNINGS” note carefully.

Update via FTP interface
This method is generally used for problem solving or when then Web page interface is
inaccessible.
The FTP interface must be enabled in the device settings to carry out this operation.
1- Open a machine (Start menu
→
Run
→
“
cmd
”)

In the terminal, with the command “
cd <location>
”, change the folder for the one
containing “
image.bin
” file to be sent to the product

Type “
ftp <module IP address
”, ENTER
Username:
“root”
Password:
“gtmt”
4- Type:

bin
", ENTER

put image.bin
", ENTER

quit
", ENTER
The image below shows the exchanges observed. Here, the image.bin files is on the
desktop (C:\Users\jappaix\Desktop) and the module IP address is 192.168.0.22.
