UTC (Time zone)

Under normal operating conditions, the unit’s internal time is UTC. In order to send the
local time on the outputs, it is necessary to first apply an offset to UTC. This offset is
configurable in 2 fields.

The first field allows you to sel
ect the sign of the offset (negative ‘-’ or positive ‘+’)
and the number of hours (from ‘00’ to ‘12’).

The second field allows you to select the minutes of the offset (from ‘00’ to ‘55’).
For example, the offset in France is “+01:00”.

DST (Daylight Saving Time)

Besides UTC, some countries have summer/winter time changes. This must be set in
order to obtain local time. When summer/winter time changes are applied, there are two
“types” of time in the year:
- Summer time (UTC + 1 hour)
- Winter time (UTC)
