Blocking particular hotplate
This mode prevents accidental change of the
original hotplate setting during its operation.
•
Select the hotplate
(2).
Decimal dot is on
(13).
•
Set the desired heating power and any optional
functions (additional heating ring, timer).
•
Next touch of the ON/OFF sensor
(2)
activates
the blockage.
•
Decimal dot
(13)
is off and the hotplate may not
be controlled.
•
Subsequent touch of the ON/OFF sensor
(2)
removes the blockage and reactivates the
control. Decimal dot
(13)
is back on.
Automatic cooking mode
Each hotplate is equipped with the automatic
cooking control. When it is activated the hotplate
will operate at maximum power for a limited
period of time (depending upon the power level
required for continuation) and then automatically
switch to the reduced power level to resume
cooking.
Switching the automatic mode on

By touching the ON/OFF sensor

select the
hotplate. Display indicates

and the decimal
dot

is flashing.

Pressing the

sensor

set the heating
power to
9
. Then touch the sensor
»+« (5).
The
display alternatively indicates
»A« and »9«.

By touching the sensor

) set the desired
heating level to be switched on after the
automatic time had expired (see chart).
