Set Mask Size
Since for some parameters the appartive dead space is taken
into account in the calculation, this must be set correctly for the
examination.

Recording the Rest-Flow / Volume Curve
The recording of the tidal loops is used to determine dynamic
hyperinflation under exercise. For this purpose, a flow / volume
measurement must be recorded before the stress test. Under
increasing load, the tidal volume is then recorded several times
and the IC (inspiratory capacity) is measured directly
afterwards. In flow-limited patients, there is an increase in
EELV (end expiratory lung volume) corresponding to a
decrease in IC.
