5.3 Restoring to Factory Default Settings

To restore the factory default settings, you can use the camera’s Web interface or operate
directly on the camera.

5.3.1 Using the Web Interface

Follow the steps below to restore the factory default settings through the camera’s Web
interface.

1. In the left menu of the

Web interface, Click

Tools

2. In

System Settings

field, click the

Load Default

button to restore the factory default

settings.

5.3.2 Directly on the Camera

You can alternatively press the default button inside the camera.

1. Keep the power and network cables connected to the camera.

2. Loosen the camera’s cover.

3. Press and hold the default button for 8 seconds.
