Chapter III. Usage and Maintenance

Note: If the test failed in any way, please read

the

Scanner Utility

section of this manual and follow

the instructions therein.

Testing the Printer

If you have a printer connected to the scanner and

wish to test your printer in the new configuration:

First, make sure your printer has been

properly installed in Windows.

Close the image-editor by clicking on

the FILE menu option and then

clicking on EXIT.

When prompted whether you wish to

save the current image click NO.

Click on the Copy Utility icon in the

ScanManager window (far left).

Make sure your printer is being

shown in the box towards the top of

the window.

If not, click on the down-arrow to the

right of the box and choose your

printer from the list shown.

Click on the large green Start button

towards the bottom of the Copy

Utility window.

A copy of the scanned document or

image should soon appear at your

printer.

Note: It may take a long time to scan and print the

image and the resulting copy may not appear to

your liking. This can easily be solved by adjusting

the settings in the Copy Utility window. Please

refer to the

Copy Utility

section of this manual for

more information about adjusting the scanner and

printer settings.
