Transport Layer Control Category
The Camera Link Transport Layer Controls relate to settings and status of the Camera Link
connection to the system frame grabber. Parameters in gray are read only, either always or due to
another parameter being disabled. Parameters in black are user set in CamExpert or programmable
via an imaging application.
Features listed in the description table but tagged as Invisible are usually for Teledyne DALSA or
third party software usage—not typically needed by end user applications.
Transport Layer Control Feature Descriptions
The Device Version number represents the camera software functional group, not a firmware
revision number. As Nano-CL capabilities evolve the device version tag will increase, therefore
identifying the supported function package. New features for a major device version release will be
indicated by
green text
for easy identification.

Camera Link TimeSlots
ClTimeSlotsCount
Displays the number of consecutive time slots
required for one complete data transfer of all
camera taps. For example, when sending 4
taps over a 2 tap configuration, the required
number of timeslots is 2.
