13 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Maintenance operations of the pump must be carried out only by authorized Technical Assistance Service.
PROBLEM
Pump does not switch on
Pump is not dosing and magnet is
giving impulses
Pump is not dosing and magnet is
not giving impulses or the stroke is
cushioned a lot
Pump display shows “ERROR
MEM” or “ERROR DATA”
CAUSE
check there is mains voltage
check the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated
on the rating plate of the pump
check fuse; if blown, replace it
replace electronic card
check that the foot filter is not clogged by impurities and
crystals
suction hose is empty, pump is not primed.
Repeat priming procedure
Air bubbles have formed in the hydraulic circuit.
Check hoses and fittings
Product dosed is producing gas.
Open discharge tap and discharge air.
Replace pump body with a self-venting one.
Formation of crystals and block of balls.
Clean valves and try to circulate 2-3 litres of water instead of
the chemical to dose.
Replace valves
Injection valve is obstructed. Replace the valve
ERROR MEM: error in data storing.
It is necessary to reload default values of the pump by
following the “Load default” procedure at section 11.9
ERROR DATA: check the entered data. If they displayed,
pump is undersized.
14 - DISPOSAL
In accordance with the directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain
hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment as well as on waste disposal,
electrical and electronic equipment, when no longer used, shall be considered and
disposed of as special waste.

electronic equipment or directly contact GEL Technical Department.
