5.7 “BATCH” working mode
The impulse from an external contact starts the dosing. Pump can be programmed according to the
strokes necessary for dosing or to dose a specific quantity.
When to use this mode?
This function allows to begin dosing activities when pump receives an external signal.
Which parameters must be set?
ST (strokes to be supplied to the magnet)
CC (product quantity to dose)
CC/STROKE (see page setup CC/ST)
Select this mode if dosage must be made per strokes or per cubic centimetres of product. For a proper
working it is necessary to calibrate the CC/STROKE. Do not change the position of the flow rate knob. It Is
not possible to program the pump to both modes: the last entry overwrites the previous one.
How to set CC or ST
When entering BATCH mode, cursor is on “CC”.
Press “ UP ” key to work in “ST” mode.
Press “ RIGHT ” key and enter the desired operating value: use “ UP ” key to increase/decrease the unit; use
“ RIGHT ” key to move to next digits. At the end, the cursor will move to “MAN:NO”.
Automatic (“MAN:NO”) or Manual (“MAN:YES”) Setting
Manual (“MAN:YES”): to start immediately manual dosing, change “MAN:NO” into “MAN:YES” by pressing
“ UP ” key.
In this mode (MAN:YES), press:
- “ P ” to start dosing;
- “ ESC ” to stop dosing;
- “ UP ” go back to MAN:NO.
Automatic (“MAN:NO”): to start dosing automatically after exit from this menu (“ P ” key), do not modify this
setting. With this setting, if the pump receives an external impulse when dosing, an alarm will be activated
(ALARM BATCH).
In this mode (MAN:NO), press:
- “ P ” or “ ESC ” to esc from this working mode;
- “ UP ” to move to MAN:YES.
Press “ P ” key to save the entered data and “ ESC ” to exit to main menu, or only press “ ESC ” to exit without
saving.
