Brightness and Contrast (cont’d)

Generally speaking, do not change the controls once they have
been set. Once set, the display then becomes the reference for
the hard copy device(s).

NOTE: After readjusting the monitor’s Contrast and Brightness,
readjust all preset and peripheral settings.

NOTE: Monitor degaussing (demagnetizing) is done
automatically when the system is turned on.

Speakers

Stereo audio, provided by speakers located on the sides of the
Display Monitor, is standard for:

Audio Doppler operation (left side is blood flow away/right
side is blood flow toward)

Audio playback of videotaped scan sessions

Audio error notification
