4. Tilt the top of the panel toward the right, then
pull the top of the panel out of the notched
opening in the front shroud.

7. Mark and disconnect wiring and disconnect the
4 wire harnesses from the control board.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
•
When replacing the control board, it is
necessary to loop the red wire from L1 through
the opening in the current sensor (as shown
below) before connecting it to relay K201.
•
The current sensor enables the control to
determine when the compressor, upper element,
and lower element are operating.
•
The control checks for compressor amps >1.5
amps and heating element amps >10 amps, 5
seconds after power up and every 10 minutes
thereafter.
5. remove the 1/4-in. hex-head screw from the top
of the control panel.
6. pull the top of the rear cover out, then lift and
remove it from 2 slots at the bottom.
