Note:
In the following step, if it is difficult to stand
behind the water heater, the fan assembly can be
lifted from the top and rotated to the left side.
12. Lift and unhook the fan assembly from the
evaporator and pull the fan wire harness
out from under the condensate drain pan. if
necessary, rotate the fan assembly to the left.
13. Cut off the plastic wire tie and remove the two
1/4-in. hex-head screws that attach the fan
motor to the fan shroud.
Note:
When replacing the fan assembly, position
both air seals to block wire entry openings under
the condensate drain pan.
14. remove the 9/32-in. hex nut, lockwasher, spacer
washer, and the fan blade from the fan motor.
