Control Stability

This section verifies the control stability.
(1)

Select

CONTROL/LEAK MEASURE

to turn the pressure controllers on. Select Pt data

view.

(2)

Press

HOLD AIMS

touch the aim boxes to enter a

Ps1 and Ps2

aim of 500 mbar with a

rate of change of 200 mbar/min.

(3)

Enter a Speed/Pt Aim of 0 mbar with a rate of change of 200 mbar/min.

(4)

Press

SEND AIMS

and wait for the aim values to be achieved.

(5)

Observe the measured values of Ps1, Ps2 and Pt on the display for 1 min.

(6)

Check that the displayed values of Ps1 and Ps2 remain within ±0.05 mbar.

(7)

Check that the displayed value of Pt remains within ±0.05 mbar.

Zone 2 definition

Defined as an atmosphere where explosive vapours may be present in an air breathable
atmosphere.
In an aircraft hangar, explosive vapour may be present around an aircraft. The amount of
explosive vapour varies and depends on local conditions such as hangar ventilation, prevailing
metrological conditions and the density of explosive vapours. The local conditions must be
assessed and the dimensions (x metre) of the hazardous area defined by the local engineering
and safety officials.
