7.4. washing and sanitizing the components
All of the previously disassembled and removed components must be thor-
oughly washed and sanitized.
important: the sanitizing solution must comply with the regula-
tions in force at the time the machine is used. Use the sanitizing
product as directed on the product label.
To carry out this procedure correctly proceed as follows:
1 fi ll a container with detergent and hot water (50-60°C);
2 wash the disassembled components with the detergent solution;
3 rinse with hot water, making sure no traces of lubricant remain;
4 fi ll another container with a sanitizing solution prepared in water;
5 soak the disassembled components in the sanitizing solution (use the sani-
tizing product as directed on the package label);
6 rinse with clean water;
7 place the components on a clean surface and dry them.
Using a damp cloth, wipe the inside part clean of all product residue.
warning: while cleaning the inside part it is necessary to prevent
water from getting inside the central tube; make sure the central
shaft is fi xed securely so as to seal off the tube opening.
Wash and sanitize the lid.
To clean the steel dispensing channel housed in the fi xed part of the machine
use the pipe cleaner provided.
e) disassemble (by pulling) the pin (F) from the gasket (G) .
c) pull out the rod (a) and spring (D) from the tap body (the pin/gasket assem-
bly (E) will slide out together with the rod);

All washed and sanitized components must be carefully reassembled.
7.5.1. assembling the tap
To reassemble the tap, carry out in reverse all of the disassembly steps illustra-
ted previously (Fig. 23 to Fig. 20).
To fi t the lever (c) push the rod (a) from the inside until the guides protrude;
then insert the lever and slowly release the rod.
