3.0 NORME D’USO
To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully
follow what is set out below.
ATTENTION
All maintenance , adjustment and preparation for operation,
must only be carried out with the power take-off of the
tractor disconnected, the seeder on the ground on the
supporting feet, the tractor not running, the wheels blocked
and the key turned off.
3.1 ATTACHMENT TO THE TRACTOR
The seeder may be attached to any tractor fitted out with a three-
point universal joint.
DANGER
The attachment to the tractor is a very dangerous phase. Be
very careful to carry out the entire operation by following the
instructions and make sure that no one comes near the
machine.
The correct tractor/seeder position, is determined by placing the
equipment at a distance from the tractor such that the Cardan
joint remains extended 5-10 cm from the position of maximum
closure. At this point, proceed as follows:
1) Hook the bar of the planting unit (1 Fig. 7) to the hoist, and
lock it with the snap-in pins.
2) Take it under the upright of the hitching points of the planting
unit (Fig. 8). Raise the lifter until the locking device of the bar
snaps into place.
3) Hook the chains to the lifting bars of the tractor. Using the
appropriate tie-rods block the bars parallel to the tractor. This
expedient must be used to avoid any kind of horizontal
movement the seeder.
4) Connect the third upper point (2 fig.9) ; the pin will be blocked
with the appropriate split pin; use the adjustment tie-rod (3
fig. 9) to keep the seeders parallel to the ground (fig. 10).
5) Connect the Cardan shaft and make sure that it is perfectly
blocked on the power take-off Check that the protection turns
freely and fix it with the special chain.
