DX4040 INSTRUCTION AND OPERATING MANUAL (E2.04)
5 EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
During installation of the analyser, the safety of any system incorporating the
equipment is the responsibility of the assembler of the system.
5.1 Storage and Packaging Conditions
The analyser must be stored in a dry and condensation-free place. Gasmet original
package (wooden box) or optionally DX4040 transport case must be used to store the
equipment.
The following long-term storage conditions should be respected:
•
+10 - +35
°
C storage temperature
•
5 - 95 % relative humidity, non-condensing
•
Gasmet battery to be stored at 15 % to 50 % state of charge with an ambient
temperature preferably not exc30 °C.
For short term storage, like for example during shipping, the following conditions can be
tolerated:
•
-20 - +45
°
C during 12 hours
•
5 - 95 % relative humidity, non-condensing
Do not drop the analyser even when stored in its original package (wooden box)
or in its transport case.
Keep the box and packaging materials, in case the unit needs to be returned for
service.
5.2 Operating Conditions
5.2.1 Lifting and Carrying Instructions
DX4040 can be lifted and carried safely in vertical position on three different ways:
•
Using the carrying handle.
•
Using the adjustable shoulder strap.
•
Using the adjustable carrying harness.
Those carrying elements are capable of withstanding a force of four times the weight of
the equipment. Care should be taken when using those different carrying elements and
the user is responsible of the safekeeping of those elements.
Never attach the metal snap hooks of the shoulder strap or the carrying harness
in the same time onto DX4040 o-ring belt buckles.
