5.7 Final checks
Place the blower onto a horizontal plate and carry out the following check:

Tightening torque of the screws Pos. 90 fixing the covers and the oil sumps

Tightening torque of the oil plugs

Tightening torque of the oil levels

Shaft rotation free by hand without locks

Clearances of the blower (use table 264468) compare the recorded values with the 7.4.
If the above checks are negative disassemble the blower to find out the cause, if instead the above checks
are positive mount the drive shaft seal
Clean the housing of the seal ring
Oil the external surface and the seal lip of the oil seal ring Pos. 43
Oil the sleeve of the device
Insert the oil seal ring onto the mounting device and approach it to his housing
Insert the oil seal ring into his housing by means a suitable device as indicated in figure, for the dimension of
the device see table 7.
