5.6.3 Sizes from 35 to 225
Clean carefully the tapered ends of the shafts
Clean carefully the surface of the tapered holes of the wheels
Insert the spacers 22 and the shims in the same original position as indicated in figure 44 using the marks
made during the blower disassembly
Insert the toothed wheel 11 A onto the drive shaft and the toothed wheel 11B onto the driven shaft using the
marks made during the blower disassembly
Set the wheels pressing them slightly by hand
Measure the dimension QI indicated in figure 44 for each toothed wheel, if the rotors, the bearings 33, the
spacers 25B, the disks 25B, the oil splash disks Pos. 23B (only from size 135 to 225) and the cover 5B
have not been changed the dimension must be in the range indicated in the column L of the table 7.6.
If instead the measure is out of the range or the bearings Pos. 33 or the spacers Pos. 25B or the oil
splash disks Pos. 23B (only from size 135 to 225) or the cover 5B have been replaced adjust the shims to
restore the correct value

WARNING: If the gear wheels or the rotors have been replaced calculate the dimension QI from
the maximum wedging dimension in the table 7.6

Insert the lubricating disk 16B onto the driver shaft
Insert two new nuts 26 onto the shafts lubricating the matching surfaces of the nuts and of the gear wheels
Approach the nuts 26 to the toothed wheels.
Interpose between the teeth not the wheels a cloth to avoid their rotation
NOTE: At first fix the nut 26 onto the driven wheel 11B and then the nut 26 onto the driver
wheel 11A, following the tightening procedure at page 74.
Unlock the rotors and extract the metal sheet LL
