Persons who are not familiar with the operating manual, children, young people
under the age of 16 as well as persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or med

ication must not operate the unit.
The equipment is only to be used for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is
deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not the manufacturer will be
liable for any damage or injuries of any kind resulting from such misuse.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade
or industrial applications. The warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in
such applications or purposes.
V. SAFETY REGULATIONS
•
Make sure that no people or animals are close to the working area (keep a mini-
mum distance of 15m).
•
Grass being cut and thrown up may contain foreign objects such as stones.
Wear protective clothing and be aware of the hazards that could occur. You are
responsible for the safety in your working area, and you are liable for damages
to persons or property.
•
Do not use the tool when you are tired or distracted, or your ability to react is
impaired when you are under the influence of alcohol or medication. Inattentive
-
ness may cause serious injuries.
•
Always wear approved safety and protective clothing. Wear safety goggles, ear
protection and high-quality safety gloves. Use leg protection when using the
brush cutter.
•
Use high-quality skid-proof protective shoes with safety steel caps. Never oper-
ate the tool wearing sandals, thongs or when barefoot.
•
Always wear an approved safety helmet when working with the hedge trimmer
or chain saw.
•
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Wear long trousers to protect your legs.
Ensure that long hair is covered or tied back so as it cannot be caught in the
moving parts of the tool. Loose clothing, jewellery, and long hair can get caught
in the moving parts. Wear suitable and durable tight working clothes.
•
Keep body parts and clothing away from the cutting tool when you start the
engine, or keep it running.
•
Make sure you are standing in a stable and secure position during work. Avoid
moving backwards with the tool due to risk of stumbling.
•
Avoid any unnatural posture while using the tool.
•
When the petrol cutting blade has been operating for a period of time, it may
cause a circulatory disorder due to vibration (Raynaud‘s disease). In this case,
it is impossible to specify any length of operation, because this differs from per-
