Inspect the mirrors for cleanliness.

If available, use compressed air to blow away any loose debris or particles which may have
accumulated on the surface of the mirrors.

Apply a small amount of methanol to a lint-free non-scratch wipe and gently wipe the mirrors.
Repeat this step as much as necessary in order to remove any dirt, smudges, or clouding from
the surface or the mirrors. They should be clean and reflective when done.

Once maintenance is complete, inspect the O-ring and ensure it is sitting properly in its
groove. See Figure 76.
