Preface
Reminders to Use the Equipment Safely
Malfunctions may be caused by the discharge of static electricity in dry environments (rooms), such as in
winter. Humidify the room, or discharge the static electricity from the operator and the patient before using the
equipment.
Malfunction due to surge (lightning)
A lightning nearby may induce excessive voltage to the equipment. Unplug the power cable from the AC outlet
in such situation.
Use the uninterruptible power supply system if available.
EMC Guidance
This equipment complies with IEC 60601-1-2 (2007)/AC (2010) and IEC 60601-2-25 (2011) safety standards.
However, if portable transmitter or wireless LAN equipment is used extremely nearby, the electromagnetic influence
may largely exceed the compliance level and may cause unexpected phenomenon such as noise interference on the
waveform, etc.
This equipment should be used in a location specified by each medical institution.
If any unexpected noise interference on the waveform or failure to the peripheral device occurs, stop using the
equipment and follow the instruction of the technical engineer.
The following is the information relating to EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
(When using the FX-8200, verify that it is used within the environment specified below.)
Compliance to the Electromagnetic Emissions
The FX-8200 is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below.

RF emission
CISPR 11
Group 1
The FX-8200 uses RF energy that is necessary for the internal functioning of
the equipment itself. Therefore, its RF emissions are very low and are not
likely to cause any interference in nearby electronic equipment.

Class B
The FX-8200 is suitable for use in all structures, including structures of
ordinary homes, and those directly connected to the public low-voltage
power supply network that supplies structures used for domestic purposes.
