PRIMERGY RX600 S2 User’s Guide

Overview

Power button (

)

Press this button to perform a hot-insertion or hot-removal of a Memory Board.

After replacing the memory, press this button to turn on.

Power LED (

)

Green light turns on when the Memory Board is powered on.

The light turns off when the power is not detected on all boards.

DIMM Status LED

The position of the LEDs corresponds to that of the memory slot. This LED is turned off when

the DIMM is functioning properly or the memory is not installed. Being lit amber indicates error

for the corresponding DIMM.

Memory Slots

Install the memory modules. The slots are arranged in the order of Memory Slot 1B, Memory

Slot 1A, Memory Slot 2B, and Memory Slot 2A from the top.
