How to Perform a Scan (for Mac OS Users)

Finishing ScanSnap Operation

Exiting ScanSnap Manager

From the ScanSnap Manager menu, select [Quit].
In most cases, ScanSnap Manager does not need to be exited.

Disconnecting the ScanSnap

1.

Close the ADF paper chute (cover) to turn off the ScanSnap.

The [ScanSnap Manager] icon in the Dock changes from

to

.

2.

Disconnect the USB cable from your computer.

3.

Disconnect the power cable from the AC outlet.

You can no longer use the ScanSnap after exiting ScanSnap Manager.
To start up ScanSnap Manager, from the Finder, select [Applications]

→

[ScanSnap]

→

[ScanSnap Manager].

The ScanSnap is turned on/off in conjunction with the computer or opening/closing of the
ADF paper chute (cover). Ordinarily, you can forget about turning on/off the ScanSnap
being connected to the computer.
