Replace the battery.

Press the POWER button.

The flash is charging. Wait until the viewfinder
lamp stops blinking (the flash takes about 6 sec-
onds to charge).

Open the back and check the film.

If a finished film is in the camera, take it out and
load a new roll of film.

If the end of the film has not been pulled to the
FILM TIP mark, adjust the film length so that the film
tip is in the camera correctly, and close the back.
