Symbols Used in this Manual

Various symbols are used throughout this manual either to provide additional information on a 
specific topic or to warn of possible danger present during a procedure or an action. Before using 
the machine, make sure to understand the meanings of these symbols.

For Safety Use

Precautions for the safe use of the machine are described below. Make sure to read and 
understand them before using.

PROHIBITION

Indicates a prohibition on the use of the product.

INSTRUCTION

Indicates an instruction that you must follow when 
using the product.

item, or the expected result of the operation.

ADJUSTMENT

REQUIRED

Indicates an operating or maintenance procedure, 
practice or condition that is necessary to keep the

Do not block the ventilation hole of the machine.

Otherwise, the internal temperature rises and a fire may result.
Never cover the machine with a cloth nor install it at a poorly 
ventilated place.
When installing the machine, ensure the prescribed 
installation space. (See 

"6.2 Inspection" (P. 280)

C A U T I O N

Avoid installing the machine in a location where there is a 
lot of oil smoke or dust, the machine can easily get wet, or 
the humidity is very high.

Otherwise, a fire or electric shock may result.

Do not move the machine alone since it is very heavy.

Three or more people are required to pack or move the 
machine.

C A U T I O N

Lift the machine in a natural posture.

Lift the machine by holding the specified positions.

Otherwise, you may be injured by the fallen machine or get 
your finger caught when installing the machine.

When moving the machine, do not tilt it 10 degree or more 
in any directions.

Otherwise, you may be injured by an accidental fall.
