WARNING
Wear personal protective equipment during puncture to protect your
eye and skin and to prevent infection.
Do not perform puncture if the patient is prone to bleeding, lesions are
not clearly observed with this product, puncturing seriously increases
the risk of accidental symptoms, blood vessels appear on the puncture
guiding lines, puncturing poses a risk of damaging the internal
organs due to respiratory displacement, or tumors are highly likely to
disseminate. Doing so may cause bleeding.
Do not perform puncture if you cannot see the puncture needle on the
endoscopic image. Operate the puncture needle while checking the
endoscopic and ultrasonic images. Do not insert the puncture needle
into the instrument channel inlet while the bending section of the
ultrasonic endoscope is bent. Do not insert a bent puncture needle into
the instrument channel inlet. Stop puncturing immediately if you cannot
obtain an endoscopic or ultrasonic image. There is a risk of perforation
and bleeding.
When using diathermic treatment equipment, suck mucus adhered to
the tissues in the body cavity first and then energize the instrument. If
the equipment is energized when in contact with mucus, it may cause
thermal injury.
Do not insert a bent puncture needle into the instrument channel inlet.
The puncture needle may be damaged during use, causing bleeding or
wrong puncturing.
Never release your finger from the forceps stand lever during puncture.
Doing so may cause bleeding due to an unintended puncture.
