Maintenance
Use this menu to initialize the NV (non-volatile) memory, configure the plain paper or labels
quality adjustment settings. Also, use this menu to adjust the reference voltage for the
transfer roller of each paper type.

Adjust Paper Type
Specifies the paper type of plain paper and labels.
• [Plain] (default: [Heavy 65-80g/m2])
Selects the density for the plain paper from [Light 60-75 g/m2] and [Heavy 65-80g/
m2].
• [Label] (default: [Label 2])
Selects the density for the labels from [Label 1] and [Label 2].
Adjust BTR
Specifies the value of the reference voltage for the transfer roller. You can specify the
value between -20 to 30 for each paper type.

• [Bond] (default: [0])
• [Transparency] (default: [0])
• [Heavyweight 1] (default: [0])
• [Heavyweight 2] (default: [0])

Fuser Adj
Specifies the fuser temperature. You can specify the value between -4 to 2 for each
paper type.

Auto Reg Adj
Adjust the color registration automatically. Selecting [On] adjusts the color registration
automatically. The default is [On].
Color Reg Adj
Correct the color registration manually. For details, refer to the Quick Reference Guide
Adjusting Color Registration.

Correct the color registration.
• [Correction Chart]
Prints the correction chart.
• [Enter Number]
Enter the number to correct the registration.
Dev Cleaning
While printing is repeated, one color toner may be mixed in another color toner in the
developer. When this occurs, use this feature. Using this feature consumes some toner.
Initialize NVM
Initializes the NV (non-volatile) memory. The NV memory is a nonvolatile memory that
stores the printer settings even after the power is turned off. After executing this
function and restarting the printer, all the menu parameters are reset to their default
values.
Note
• You cannot execute this menu during printing.
• You need to restart the printer to activate this setting. After making the setting, turn off
the printer and then turn it on again.
Clear Storage
Deletes the stored documents in the internal hard disk (optional). This menu is available
when the optional internal hard disk is installed.
