6.3.2 Hysteresis setting
To prevent chattering of an alarm output near the alarm setting values, set the value of hysteresis.
(1) In the “Alarm Setting” screen that ap-
pears, point the cursor to “Hysteresis” by
pressing the or the key. Press the
ENT
key to display the screen shown at
right.
(2) Then, enter hysteresis values.
For the value entry, 1-digit value is in-
creased or decreased by pressing the
or the key, and pressing the key
moves the digit. After setting, press the
ENT
key to make the “Hysteresis” valid.
Hysteresis (in case of upper limit alarm)
An alarm output is turned ON if measurement value exceeds the upper limit value as shown
below. Once the alarm output has been turned ON, it is not turned OFF as long as the indi-
cation does not fall below the hysteresis width from the upper limit value.
0 to 20% of full scale
[% full scale (FS)] represents the percentage
with the width of the range of each compo-
nent regarded as 100%.
