7.8.2 Adjust paper guides
• Loosen knurled nuts on the guide rails.
• Adjust the rails to a setting that is
half the
paper’s width + c. 2 mm
.
The correct setting can be read from the
scale at the end of the paper tray.
• Check the setting with a sample sheet.
• Tighten knurled nuts to lock rails into
position.
7.8.3 Adjust separator gate
• Swing the separator sluice upward until it
clicks into position.
• Lay a sample sheet onto the tray.
• Turn the knob counterclockwise until the
sample sheet can easily be pushed
between the separator drum and the
separator block.
• Now turn the knob in the other direction
(clockwise) until the sample sheet meets
light resistance when being pulled out.
• Press the lever upward and lower the
separating head.
