Detailed instructions on configuring the
inserting system for a job can be found in
Chapter 7 in descriptions of individual
modules and in the “Instruction manual
Inserting system 4000”.
6.1
Inserting from a single station
Caution!
Make sure that no material from the
previously run job remains in the machine.
• Set up sealer and inserter.
• Load envelopes.
• Switch inserter power ON.
• Press
button on the inserter.
• Set the orange-coloured button on the
hand-held conveyor control to
I
– the con-
veyor is now turned ON. The on-line exten-
sion of the inserting system is now deacti-
vated.
• Press the
button to turn ON the
station.
• Set the station up for the job (letter width,
fold locations, separators).
• Prior to loading, prepare a neat, fanned out
stack of material (max. 500 sheets). The
leading edge of the top page should lead
the wedge, the stack’s sides should be
even and straight.
