Operator Manual KS 4000 OL / OLC
• Swing the separator head upward until it
snaps out of the way.
• Load the prepared fanned stack into the
paper bin and move it close to the
separating head.
• Lower the separating head by pressing the
lever upward.
• Press
button. One sheet (page) will
be drawn from the stack to generate a
reference value.
• Verify that only a single sheet was drawn.
• Press the
button to confirm.
• Press the black button on the hand-held
conveyor control repeatedly until the first
set enters the inserter and automatic
operation begins.
The first set has reached the inserter. Start
automatic operation:
• Press the
button – the button will light
up.
• If necessary: Switch material format to
match material.

• Press
button – button lights up and
automatic operation begins.
If supplements are drawn into the inserter with
too much force and slam into the chute, use
the speed setting wheel to reduce speed so
that supplements are gently delivered to the
inserter.
