• Lower the upper part.
• Press the upper part gently down until the
latch catches.
• Press the Black Box signal button to clear
the error message.
The signal button will stop blinking and the
system is ready to resume operation.
8.6 Sequencer faults
Faults in the sequencer are indicated when
the sequencer’s red signal button is blinking.
The Black Box signal button may also blink.
After eliminating the cause of the fault, clear
the error message:
• First press the sequencer signal button for
about 1 second. The button will stop
blinking.
• If the Black Box signal button is blinking,
press it for about 1 second. The button will
stop blinking.
The system is ready to resume operation.
To clear a paper jam:
• Raise the sequencer upper body to its fully-
opened position. Use caution! The part is
heavy and can cause injury if it slams
closed.
• Flip the transport roller brace open and
hold it with one hand.
• Remove any jammed materials.
