6.4.2 INSTALLATION COMPLETION K53S
1. Install the angular support on the air outlet side.
2. Remove the air outlet net.
3. Install the shutter and if necessary an optional SK net on the
shutter.
6.5 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
WARNING
Connection of the fan to the power supply must be carried out by
qualified and trained personnel who assume all responsibility and
carry out procedures in compliance with the regulations in force in
the country of installation.
Before connecting to the mains, isolate the power line by opening
the main switch.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service department or qualified personnel to
prevent risks.
If replacement of the cable is required, follow the connections
indicated on the wiring diagram at the end of the manual.
CAUTION
Always observe safety regulations. Strictly observe the wiring diagram
connections in the operating manual.
1. The fan is supplied with no electrical command and/or control
devices.
2. The label on the motor indicates the type of supply voltage for
which the motor has been configured.
3. Check that the power supply, available at the installation site,
provides the correct voltage and frequency values required.
4. The installer must provide a control panel that complies with
the requirements of IEC EN 61439 and adequate wiring that
complies with IEC EN 60204 and IEC 60364.
5. Protection devices such as the following must be installed:
• lockable safety switch
• magnetic-thermal circuit breaker (correctly sized with respect
to the motor nameplate data) and any residual current device
(to be evaluated according to the system configuration).
• start/stop switch
• emergency stop button with mechanical lock and manual
reset in accordance with the regulations in force in the country
of installation.
6. The design and sizing of the electrical system are the
responsibility of the installer or representative, and must be
carried out in accordance with the rules in force in the destination
country.
7. Cable cross-sections must be correctly sized according to the
motor nameplate data, their length and installation conditions.
8. Earth the machine correctly using a suitable yellow/green cable
so as to create an effective equipotential circuit against risk of
electrocution. The choice of the automatic safety cut-out device,
which must intervene in the event of an earthing fault, is left to the
installer (reference IEC 64-8 standard).
9. For the connection, refer to the wiring diagrams at the end of
the manual
10. Observe the instructions in the motor manual supplied by the
manufacturer.
6.4.1 INSTALLATION COMPLETION K53C / K53R
1. Cone assembly must be carried out following the instructions in
the specific manual supplied with the machine.
2. If provided, fix the shutter to the fan, using provided screws, as
shown in figure. Before shutter installation it is necessary remove
wire protection mesh on air intake, if provided. Wire protection
mesh can be fixed directly on shutter, using dedicated holes.
3. For the assembly of any accessories, refer to the specific
manuals supplied with them.
