The FOXPRO firmware updates are found at the following link:

version for your particular device

assistance in this matter.
After you obtain the update file, make sure the XWave is turned off and then connect it to your
computer.
Be advised, the XWave must remain turned off the entire time it is connected to
your computer. Your computer may provide an audible or visual alert that a new device has
been connected. Once it is detected, proceed with the steps below.
1. Locate the update file that you downloaded from the FOXPRO website.
2. Copy the update file from wherever it is stored on your hard drive directly into the
XWave. Note: the XWave features
a folder called ‘Sounds’ . Do not place the update
file in this folder. Copy the file directly into the root of the XWave.
3. After the file has been copied into the XWave, safely disconnect the XWave from your
computer.
4. Make sure that you have fresh batteries in the XWave and then turn it on. When the
XWave is turned on, it will find the update file that you placed inside and the firmware
update will occur automatically.
13-2 XWave Remote
The XWave remote features a mini USB port. Make sure you have the appropriate mini USB
type A/B cable for connecting the remote to your PC.
The update software is only compatible with PC’s running Microsoft Windows XP and newer .

Begin by verifying the batteries in your XWave remote are fresh or fully charged. It is crucial
that the batteries are fresh or fully charged prior to starting this process. If the batteries are
weak and cause the device to lose power during the update process, the device could be
damaged to an extent where it is no longer usable. Again,
make sure your batteries are fresh or
fully charged and then follow the instructions below:
1. Turn off the remote.
2. Open the update utility software.
