Start Script Execution
button .

The 8 metal cylinders should now move up and down in a plunging motion,
lubricating the inside of the plungers with the grease you applied.

When the script finishes, repeat steps 4-8 once again to optimize the result.

After all steps are complete, continue with "Running a Plate Copy Test" below.
Running a Plate Copy Test
1.
Click the
Open Task List
button and open the Sample folder.
2.
Select
Plate Copy MRC2 50 uL.xml
and click
Open
. The Task List will update.
3.
Run the task list by clicking the
Run Task List
button .
4.
Watch closely to verify that the Plate Copy head picks up the HV tips, and that each of
the tips aspirates 100 µL from the Deep Well block. The amount aspirated into the tip
should form an equal horizontal line across each of the tips. Check again to make sure
that each tip dispensed all of the solution to the daughter plate, and that the tips
were returned to the HV tip caddy.
Reinstalling the NT8 Head's Cover
1.
Exit the software, power-off the NT8, and unplug it.
2.
Manually move the head to the center of the NT8.
