5.4 Turning the E-PURE ASPRA P10000-4C ON and OFF
Set the main switch (figure 3.5 [F]) to position “1” to switch on the E-PURE ASPRA P10000-4C.
The green indicator lamp (figure 3.5 [B]) will light up immediately and you will see the display
light up. After +5 seconds waiting time you will slowly hear the fan go to its set speed and the
high voltage will indent. To switch off the E-PURE ASPRA P10000-4C, reset the main switch to
“0”. At “0” the entire system switches itself off immediately.
The display (figure 5.1), which is visible through the viewing window (figure 3.5 [C]), shows
various data after switching on:
1. The fan speed in % of the maximum
2. The supplied current in microA by the HV. Pay attention! This value is not constant and
serves only as a reference for a Formula Air service technician.
3. The brush interval in hours. This is the set period in which the P10000-4C will start itself
with a self-cleaning cycle. By default, this is 48 hours.
4. The remaining time in hours and minutes for the next self-cleaning cycle.
5.5 Automatic self-cleaning
The E-PURE ASPRA P10000-4C starts its self-cleaning cycle periodically and automatically.
See also chapter 3.2 functioning principle. This period is pre-programmed and will normally
be 24 to 48 hours. Contact Formula Air to have the planning adjusted.
5.6 Manual cleaning
By pressing and holding the pressure button for manual self-cleaning (figure 3.5 [D]) for two
seconds, you can start a cleaning cycle yourself. When starting a self-cleaning cycle, the fan
will stop running. This is to prevent the flaring of dust during cleaning. The system waits for 30
seconds until the fan is turned off.
