5.1 At first use / changing the collectors
Before the first use, new collectors and optional pre-filters and activated carbon filter
cartridges must be placed in the E-PURE ASPRA P10000. During use the collectors,
pre-filters and cartridges will have to be replaced periodically for optimal cleaning.
Follow the steps below to replace the collectors.
1.
Set the main switch (figure 3.5 [F]) to position “0” to switch off the E-PURE ASPRA
P10000.
2.
Remove the two connection bolts (figure 5.1 [A]) from the collector mounting
frame (figure 5.1 [B]).
3.
Remove the collector mounting frame.
4.
Collected dust in the pre-filter and the collectors can contain contaminated
air. For proper handling of the filters, consult appropriate health and safety
standards or contact an industrial facility hygienist. To avoid the risk of illness or
injury, always use suitable respiratory protection and protective clothing when
collected fabric is handled. Dispose of the collectors and filters in accordance
with national and regional laws. Follow the safety instructions in this manual and
those that apply to your workplace when handling used filters.
5.
Replace the collectors and reposition the collector-mounting-frame.
6.
Use the connection bolts to secure the collector-mounting-frame back in place.
7.
Repeat this process for all sides of the E-PURE ASPRA P10000.
8.
After mounting new fresh collectors the filter timer needs to be reset.
When the
system is turned on after mounting new, fresh collectors, short press the
“start brush“ button five times.
After 4 button presses a warning will appear
(“TAKE CARE: Filter timer will be reset. Press again to reset filter timer”), and at
the fifth button press the text “Filter timer has been reset. Next filter change in:
xxxxhxxm” will appear.
