Filling the Water Tank
PLEASE NOTE!
■
When you
fi
ll the tank, you should
place the training device on a level,
solid, water-resistant surface and/or
place a towel underneath it to catch
any splashes.
■
Do not
fi
ll the water tank with water
above the maximum
fi
lling level (see
line on the water tank), otherwise wa-
ter could spill when the training device
is being set up.
1. Fill a bucket with water.
2. Remove the water tank plug (

) from
the water tank (

).
3. Put the straight end of the pump in
the bucket and the
fl
exible end in the
water tank.
4. Pump water into the water tank until
the water reaches the maximum level
(see lines on the water tank).
The water in the water tank can
be dyed blue using the dye if you
wish. If you do this, note that only
around 1/3 of the liquid ought to be
added to one full water tank.
Attaching the Training
Computer
Slide the training computer (

) onto the
holder on the rowing machine and plug
together the two cables. You must hear
them engage.
To remove the training computer, detach
the cables by pressing the small locking
lug and pulling them apart.
Inserting Batteries into the
Training Computer
PLEASE NOTE!

Use only the battery type speci
fi
ed in
the technical data.
■
Take the batteries out of the training
computer if they are dead or if you will
not be using the device for a pro-
longed period. This will prevent any
damage caused by leaks.
■
Remove leaking batteries from the
training computer immediately.
Before inserting the batteries, check
whether the contacts in the training com-
puter (

) and on the batteries are clean,
and clean them if necessary.
The battery compartment is located on
the back of the training computer:
1. Grip and press down the locking lug
on the battery compartment cover.
Open the battery compartment cover
at the same time.
2. Insert two batteries into the battery
compartment (1.5 V; AA). Make sure
the polarity (+ / –) is correct.
3. Close the battery compartment. When
you do this, make sure that the locking
lugs sit in the recesses which are pro-
vided for them. The battery compart-
ment cover must be heard to engage.
If the training computer stops working, the
batteries need to be replaced.
