Use a small pair of needle-nose pliers to

force in plastic barbs on P.C.B stand-offs in
order to lift the board up.

Re-fit in reverse manner.

Power Transformer

Location:

Under service panel

Removal

(a)

Follow general servicing instructions for components around service panel area
(Refer to Section 7.4).

(b)

Remove top panel.

(c)

Remove two wires from power terminal block and two wires from power module.
(Refer to Technical Overview Section 2.24)

Note:

Ensure that when removing any wires from power connector block that they

are replaced onto the correct terminals.

(d)

Remove four transformer retaining screws and lift out transformer.

Note:

Ensure replacement transformer has the correct voltage and frequency.

Re-assembly

(a)

Re-fit in reverse manner

(b)

Follow re-assembly procedure. (Refer to Section 7.5).

Thermal Limiter

Location:

In back panel, top panel and service panel areas.

Removal
Note:

Refer to the Technical Overview for thermal limiter locations and specifications.

(a)

Follow servicing instructions for components around back panel and service panel
areas. (Refer to Sections 7.3 & 7.4).

(b)

Remove top panel.

(c)

Remove wires from faulty thermal limiter.

(d)

Remove retaining screws and replace old thermal limiter.

Re-assembly

(a)

Re-fit in reverse manner.

(b)

Follow re-assembly procedure. (Refer to Section 7.5).
