5.5 SYMPTOM: Faulty Temperature or Oven Mode L.C.D.
Modules
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
·
Loose connection to clock module
· Faulty temperature or oven mode L.C.D. module
PROCEDURE:
If the fault is that one segment of the display is always on or always off then replace the
L.C.D. Module.
(Refer to Servicing Instructions Section 7.7).
If the L.C.D. module is displaying incorrect information, check that the connections from
the L.C.D. module to the clock and switch modules are secure.
If there are no connection faults then replace the L.C.D. module. (Refer to Servicing
Instructions Section 7.7)
Replace the switch module if no other faulty components can be found. (Refer to
Servicing Instructions Section 7.6)
5.6 SYMPTOM: “DOORLOCK” and “PROBE” showing for
lower cavity
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
Lower cavity power module has no power (double oven only).
PROCEDURE:
Check the connection between upper and lower cavity power modules.
Test for correct supply voltage to lower cavity power transformer.
(120volts in USA or 240 volts in NZ / AUS)
Check connection from the power transformer to lower cavity power module.
Check for blown power module fuse. Replace power module if fuse is blown and trace
cause of fuse blowing. (Refer to Servicing Instructions Section 7.9)
Tracing cause of power module Fuse blowing:
Check resistance to earth of lamp wiring. Replace lamp assembly if low. (Refer to
Servicing Instructions Section 7.14)
Ensure the supply voltage is correct. (120 volts in USA or 240 volts in NZ / AUS) Inform
local power authority if incorrect.
