Note:

Trims are not identical so care must be taken to re-fit them correctly. (Refer

to photo in Section 7.6)

Disconnect earth wire from mounting panel.

(e)

Lift off mounting panel.

(f)

Unclip faulty module from retaining lens and lift out.

(g)

Disconnect wiring harness and transfer to replacement module.

Note:

Take extreme care so as not to leave fingerprints or visible marks on any

lens surface.

Re-assembly

(a)

Remove protective strip from L.C.D module screen.

(b)

Re-fit in reverse manner.

Note:

Ensure wiring harness wires are clear of possible crush points when re-

assembling.
(c)

Follow re-assembly procedure. (Refer to Section 7.5).

L.C.D Lenses:
Removal

(a)

Follow procedure for removal of L.C.D modules above up to step (f).

(b)

Pull off damaged lens and clean old adhesive strip area.

(c)

Remove adhesive tape backing strip from replacement lens.

(d)

Remove protective strip from L.C.D lens.

(e)

Attach replacement lens ensuring it is fitted squarely.

Note:

Take extreme care so as not to leave fingerprints or visible marks on any lens

surface.

Re-assembly

(a)

Re-fit in reverse manner.

Note:

Ensure wiring harness wires are clear of possible crush points when re-

assembling.
(b)

Follow re-assembly procedure (Refer to Section 7.5).

Clock Module

Location:

Control Panel

Removal

(a)

Follow general servicing instructions for components around control panel area
(Refer to Section 7.2).

(b)

Remove temperature and oven mode knobs and the clock twist button.

(c)

Remove ten screws securing top and bottom powder coated trims.

Note:

Trims are not identical so care must be taken to re-fit them correctly. (Refer

to photo in Section 7.6)

(d)

Disconnect earth wire from mounting panel.
