Evaluating the error word of the input table
The error word of the input table can be
specified in the input mask for the FIPIO
configuration of a valve terminal "Parametering a
standard equipment FSD C8.” This error word
informs the control program whether the current
input image is valid or not. The error word is
entered in the field "Input tabulation fault” as a
variable of type %MW.
Contents of
"Input tabulation
fault" in hexa-
decimal form Meaning
16#0000 The inputs are valid and are
stored in the current status in the
input table ("Input tabulation
word”).
16#00FF The status of the inputs is not
valid.
The values in the input table
("Input tabulation word”) should
not be evaluated in the control
program.
