PLEASE NOTE

•

For Festo valve terminals only the task
priority needs to be specified.

•

Valve terminals are base devices with the
standard profile FSD_C8 and require no
other parameters to be set.

•

Select the desired priority for the valve
terminal under “Task”.

Recommendation:

•

Set the priority to “MAST”.
This is satisfactory for standard applications
in pneumatics.

•

The valve terminal also supports the alterna-
tives “AUX0, AUX1” and “FAST”.

The task priority establishes the cycle time with
which the valve terminal I/Os are later updated.

PLEASE NOTE
The task allocated to the valve terminal must
not subsequently be set higher than 260 ms
(“Generating - setting task period parameters”
menu, “Task periods” screen), otherwise the
valve terminal will generate a time-out error.
