Designated use
The CPA valve terminals described in this documenta-
tion have been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators and may only be used in conjunc-
tion with devices and components of other manufac-
turers, where these have been recommended or ap-
proved of by Festo:
– according to designated use
– in their original state
– without modifications by the customer
– in a faultless technical state.
The specified limits for pressures, temperatures, electri-
cal data, torques, etc. must be observed.
Please observe the regulations of the relevant national
and/or local technical authorities.
Target group
This manual is intended exclusively for personnel
trained in control and automation technology who have
experience in fitting, installing, commissioning, servicing
and converting pneumatic components.
