Term Meaning
Components Common term for pneumatic sub-bases, valve plates, additional
pressure supply plates, reserve plates, end plates,
electrical sub-bases (with IC, MP, CP or AS-i connections), electrical
manifold bases, sub-bases, end plate covers, silencers.
Electrical bridge Conducts the supply voltage from the manifold base to the solenoid
coils on CPA valve terminals with MP, CP or AS-i connections.
Electrical sub-base Block with multipin, CP or AS-i connection
End plate Outer left and right hand end plates of the CPA valve terminal
with connections for supplying the valves with compressed air
and for conducting the exhaust air, as well as for connecting silencers.

Manifold base Block for electrical linking of the valve solenoid coils with the
electrical sub-base.
Pin type Plug connector (with/without inner thread) for connecting the supply
cables to the CPA valve terminal.
Pin type with inner
thread Pin-type adapter for connecting the supply tubing with QS screw
connectors.
Reserve plate Plate without valve function, for reserving valve locations.
Sub-base Pneumatic manifold base with open or closed
compressed air channel for single solenoid, double solenoid or mid-
position valves with work connections 2 and 4.
Tubing Connects the supply lines (tubing) to the CPA valve terminal
Valve plate Plate with single solenoid valve, double solenoid valve or mid-psition
valve
