When the ACTIVATE button is released, the microphone is disconnected and the
function stops until the ACTIVATE button is pressed again.

Activating a Digital Voice Message
To activate a digital voice message:
1. Press the ARM switch for 1 second.
2. Turn the dial to one of the messages.
3. Press the ACTIVATE button.
Recording a Digital Voice Message
To record a digital voice message:
1. Press the ARM switch for 1 second.
2. Turn the dial to RECORD.
3. Hold down the ACTIVATE button while speaking within 12 inches of the
microphone and release button to stop recording.
RECORD re-records the previous message each time the ACTIVATE button is
pressed. Up to 2 minutes of recording time is available for the record function. The
PLAYREC function play-backs the digitally recorded message.
The CANCEL/DISARM button stops any function in progress and disarms the control
panel(s) which also turns off the ARM LED on the control panel(s).
A function description area is reserved on the bottom of the UVLOC panel to place a
label describing each of the functions available with a meaningful description.
